Visit The Coastal Town of Indiatlantic

Indiatlantic is a coastal town located in Brevard County, Florida. The town is part of Melbourne, Palm Bay, and the Satellite Beach metropolitan area. If your thing is museum hopping and spending time in mega malls and outlets Indiatlantic is not a place for you. Indiatlantic is a place just to unwind, lay back, and enjoy life to the fullest. Visitors will sense the relaxed lifestyle the moment they arrive in Indiatlantic. The town’s name is derived from its location. A slice of heaven between the Atlantic Ocean and Indian River. The beauty of Indiatlantic is its simplicity, the way Florida coastal towns used to be. No high-rise buildings, mega-hotels, and resorts obstruct the view of the ocean. The town was established in the early 1920s and incorporated in 1952 but it has never become a large metropolitan area.

Indiatlantic A New Found Paradise

Visiting Indiatlantic was a pure accident for us. It happened during a drive up the coast on our favorite road, A1A. Our destination was Melbourne until we drove past and came across Indiatlantic. A small oceanside shopping area was our first stop. The first impression was how kind and easygoing the locals were. The calm and casual lifestyle was contagious and easy to adapt. A walk on the Indiatlantic Boardwalk was another reinforcement to slow down and enjoy life. The beaches were uncrowded and clean. This is the life we always wanted and dreams are made! We spent the rest of the day in Indiatlantic and never made it to Melbourne! This is how Florida used to be and can still be if you find a hidden gem like Indiatlantic.
